In the days before manufacturers began integrate timers into appliances like ovens, American clock makers filled the gap with sturdy appliance timers. Swartzbaugh Manufacturing of Toledo, Ohio was one such company. In addition to a wide array of home and commercial appliances and gadgets, they created the Everhot line of on/off timers. This 1938 Everhot has been modified to be simply a great clock. The timer switch and electrical components have been removed for safety reasons. It is too great a liability exposure to run 120 volts through an all metal clock body. The risk of shock, or worse, is not worth it. Do so at your own risk. It looks great too. The case has been refinished in the original Almond White, and all metal parts are polished to a mirror finish.
